A global manufacturing company was committed to creating a corporate university. Incite Learning designed and provided the Interpersonal Leadership Program that is delivered around the world several times each year. The participants have been identified as high potential leaders that will lead the company in the years ahead to reach its aggressive business goals. The Interpersonal Leadership Program is an integral part of their professional development and has become part of a two-year certificate program as a required course. Incite faculty continue to serve the client through ideas and feedback from participants on ways to link and leverage the learning process. Currently, Incite Learning is working on an advanced version of the program to be offered to alumni with a focus on global leadership skills.
A premier international strategy consulting firm has been a client of Incite Learning for several years. A full array of Incite Learning services have been provided to this firm with over 5000 firm members worldwide. Incite is frequently asked to help new consultants and managers learn more about firm culture because we have been collaborating with this client for so long. Several executive coaching interventions, training programs, and special learning events have taken place over the years. The Managers Leadership Workshop, a five-day training program, is offered to senior administrative managers several times each year and a similar program is provided for senior knowledge professionals. Executive coaching is ongoing with a range of professionals: managers, knowledge experts, consultants, and senior administrators. Additionally, events have been designed around the world in the form of retreat faciliation, presentations, and customized web-based assessments.
A large hospital in the western United States needed to put in place a leadership development program for their 150+ staff of managers, administrators, and healthcare professionals. Incite Learning conducted a research project to determine successful leadership behaviors at each level of management within the hospital and leadership competencies in other healthcare organizations. An on-line survey was designed and implemented. The outcome on an individual level was the ability of each leader to target their development toward specific needs. Reports for teams and levels of leadership were compared to determine where the hospital should focus training and other interventions to develop leaders. The survey is completed every two years and results are compared with previous surveys to study success and program effectiveness. Recently, Incite Learning has taken on the task to partner with the hospital to design their learning center where all employees and affiliates will go for professional development and on going certification requirments. Also, Incite Learning has redesigned the executive performance assessment process for the CEO and the borad of the hospital.
A business risks and security consulting firm asked Incite Learning to design a learning process to help them move toward a culture of consultancy. Over a period of four years, consultants completed a three or five day training program focused on the skills of consulting. These skills have been benefiscial to them in their cleint work and their business has increased substantially over the past four years.
Similar programs have been designed for internal consulting groups and other professional services firms. The internal IT consulting team of a large printing company based in the United States with better internal client relations as the result. Projects were getting done faster and more effectively after the training. Incite has also worked closely with a well know public relations agency providing executive coaching, team alignment, and top team facilitation.
A world reknown retailer of sports shoes and apparel asked Incite Learning to design a program on how to influence people. This huge matrix organization needed better communcation to breakdown the silos that develop between product teams. A two-day program focused on influencing in the absense of authority was offered to managers and individual contributors in their global footwear, manufacturing, and research divisions during a three year period of time.
