John S. Flood, Jr.

John S. Flood, Jr is a consultant and faculty member with Incite Learning having 30+ years designing and implementing experience-based learning. A clear focus in John’s recent consultation has been team performance and the development of participative leadership skills. Recent projects have included developing and implementing customer/supplier partnerships, high performing teams start-up, executive team-building, executive coaching, and instructing Executive MBA and Executive Education classes.

John teaches teamwork, team facilitation, and leadership as part of the curriculum at the Babcock Graduate School of Management Executive MBA Programs at Wake Forest University, as part of the Daniel Management Center Executive Education Programs at USC, at the Goizeuta Business School at Emory University, and at the Robert H. Smith School of Business EMBA programs at The University of Maryland. His consulting practice, The Blue Ridge Consulting Group, focuses primarily on organizational change, leadership development, and team building.

John earned degrees in Business Administration and Law from the University of Florida, and practiced law as an attorney in his own firm. He served as Director of the Connecticut Wilderness School, an alternative to prison for troubled youth and as Associate Director of the North Carolina Outward Bound School, John was responsible for design and delivery of all Outward Bound corporate and professional development programs.

John splits his time between North Carolina and Salem, Oregon. He has two sons who share his passion for white water kayaking and rafting.
