The New Incite Learning Retreat Center!

Early in 2006 Incite Learning entered into a lease agreement with Serenity Retreat Center, LLC in Lake City, Colorado. Lake City is a town of 340 people that sits at 8400 feet and is surrounded by five 14000 foot mountains. The entire county only has 750 people. The center is an 1892 Queen Anne Victorian house with a carriage house on the property as well. It is not a huge facility but very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The center sits in town across the street from the school so everything is walkable.

The idea behind this arrangement is many fold. First, it serves as a satelite office for Incite Learning for a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Second, the retreat center will be used for specialized executive coaching work where we can bring a family there to stay in the main house while the coach stays in the carriage house. The coach can conduct sessions with the coachee and there is time for the family to be together enjoying the scenary and town. Third, small teams can come to the center to work on their performance. The main house has two queen size beds and the carriage house has a queen and two twins dorm style. Lastly, the center will be used for Incite Learning events like the annual retreat, content thinktanks, and client design intensives.

We are excited about the possibilities Serenity Retreat Center provides to Incite and look forward to a long and fulfilling relationship. Great things will come from Lake City!
